We are looking forward to working with Bag 2 School for the first time this spring.  They provide a free fundraising scheme for anyone wanting to raise funds using a resource EVERYONE has got in their wardrobe – unwanted clothes. They work in partnership with Schools, Businesses, Community Groups, Local Councils and Charities to help them raise funds from your donations. Operating throughout the UK; collecting and selling your unwanted textiles to importers and wholesalers in many countries of Eastern and Western Europe, Africa and Asia.

How does it work? Children are provided with a bag, which they can take home and fill with unwanted clothing. It will then be collected from the pre-school and weighed. The company then pay the pre-school based on the weight of the collection.

Bags will be sent home with children and collected from Busy Fingers on the 19th Nov 2020, however if you don’t currently have a child at the setting but would like to make a donation of unwanted clothes, shoes or fabric please contact the pre-school to arrange for a bag.

They accept the following ‘good quality’ items for RE-USE*:
